Although not part of the 50 State Commorative Quarters program, this loco and caboose make a great addition to the 50 state quarters cars! I have both of these in my collection. Star Spangled Conventional GG1 #4837 (6-21701) US Quarter Commemorative Series Extended Vision Caboose (6-22312) These cars match the quarters that are released for each state, and were released in the order in which each state became a state. Painted a stunning metallic silver, the freight cars simulate the silver metal of coin. The individual design of each quarter is beautifully rendered on the side of the car, after the quarter is released. Decorated with the flag of the state and the date the state was admitted to the Union, these cars are great for history buffs as well as railroaders. A slot in the car's roof or body allows it to function as a bank, in addition to a railroad freight car.
